About the Packet Loss Graphs

The Packet Loss Graphs, e.g. Packet Loss summary from TRIUMF, will not render properly in all browsers.

The inline graphs are generated using the width and height modifiers on a small GIF image. The same image is used repeatedly to generate all the graphs. Since in modern browsers the image resides in cache, only one HTTP request is made.

Browsers tested:

* An earlier version of the page used a height of zero for 0% loss. Netscape 4 renders this as the natural height of the GIF, which was 15, while other versions render it as height 1. This has been changed, so that the height is (%loss/20 + 1) pixels while the natural height has been changed to 1.
